The IGCSE Coordinator is a critical academic leadership role, overseeing the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Cambridge IGCSE program for our Secondary students. This involves ensuring curriculum alignment with Cambridge International standards, monitoring schemes of work, and supporting the teaching faculty through professional development and mentoring.
The Coordinator acts as the pedagogical leader for the IGCSE phase, driving high academic outcomes and maintaining program integrity, which includes the vital task of coordinating all internal and external Cambridge examinations and assessments, ensuring adherence to strict regulations.
In a small private school context in Yangon, the role requires strong organizational and administrative skills to manage student registrations, examination logistics, and performance data reporting. The Coordinator will act as a key liaison, managing communication between the school, Cambridge International, parents, and students, and collaborating closely with the Principal to ensure a smooth progression for students through the Cambridge Pathway. This position is central to the school’s vision, requiring a leader who thrives in a dynamic, technologically evolving environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead IGCSE curriculum development.
- Mentor and develop IGCSE teachers and staff.
- Analyse exam data & drive academic improvement.
- Manage student IGCSE registration and records.
- Oversee curriculum delivery.
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- School administration experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong organization and time management.
- Commitment to student academic success.
Nice to have
- Comfortable using new technology.

- Experience marking IGCSE papers.
